Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Therapy can help if you are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, hopeless, stuck, or simply not like yourself.

You do not have to be in crisis to begin. Many people come to therapy for support during life transitions, for personal growth, or even to strengthen their relationships.

  • The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy.

We will explore your background, what you hope to gain, and begin developing actionable goals to guide our work together.

It is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and for us to see if we are a good fit.

  • Everyone is different, and the length of therapy depends on your individual needs and goals.

Some people find that short-term therapy is enough, while others benefit from longer-term support.

We will check in regularly to make sure therapy continues to provide you with the support you need.

  • Yes, privacy and confidentiality are essential parts of building trust in our work together. However, there are certain exceptions required by law, such as safety concerns.
